Founded in 1936, Frôté & Partner has grown thanks to its broad expertise, multilingualism and network, opening new offices in addition to its Biel office, in Neuchâtel in 2000 and Solothurn in 2009. Today, it is made up of a team of around thirty people.

After being admitted to the Bern Bar in November 1979, François Frôté joined Frôté & Partner SA. After practising as a barrister for several years, François Frôté gradually developed a consultancy business and took on various directorships.

Mr Helbling has been working with our firm since March 2010. He previously worked for the Administration Fiscale Neuchâteloise, where he gained extensive practical experience in a variety of tax matters. He also has extensive experience in guardianship matters. His knowledge of tax, economics and accounting enables him to provide services to companies and individuals in the areas of business restructuring, acquisitions and sales, tax planning in the field of real estate, inheritance and gifts, and occupational pensions.

Michael Imhof joined Frôté & Partner SA in 2014. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Neuchâtel, and has extensive knowledge of commercial law. After graduating in law, he worked for 2 years with the main judicial authorities in the canton of Bern, before joining our law firm as a lawyer. His main area of practice is general litigation, with a specialization in corporate law. Michael Imhof is also a deputy member of the Canton of Bern Lawyers’ Supervisory Authority and an expert at the HEG-ARC. He practices mainly before the courts of the cantons of Bern, Vaud, Neuchâtel and Jura.

Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in February 1988, Johann Piller holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Law of the Judicial Professions from the Faculty of Law at the University of Neuchâtel, and has been a Neuchâtel barrister since 2014 and a Neuchâtel notary since 2016.
After having been a partner in a Neuchâtel law firm, he co-founded Hofer & Piller and manages the Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds offices. On request, he also consults in the Boudry office.
Mr Piller acts as both a notary and a lawyer.
His keen cross-disciplinary approach, from both a notarial and a procedural perspective, enables him to offer his clients comprehensive and efficient support, both as a notary and as a lawyer, particularly in the areas of property law, commercial law and inheritance law.
